just one question: why is the powerpoint 2007 viewer about 13.8 times as big as the powerpoint 2003 viewer? (comparing the files sizes of the installation packages.)the setup process and the functionality are the same, just that the 2007 viewer can display powerpoint 2007 files which the 2003 viewer probably can't.what's in the additional 24 mb? is powerpoint 2007 itself included? how nice of microsoft that would be.

gosh dangit said:reviewing trial (aug 31, 2009)i thought this product was discontinued years ago. why would anyone want this when they could get a garmin handheld gps unit or use google maps? i give this a 1 because it's not free and it's not made by the best handheld gps manufacturer of all time.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------is your garmin handheld gps unit free? or does it cost money to purchase it?i'll rate my curent version of ms streets & trips a 4 as it still needs some work. can't get the 2010 version because of a glitch in the web site.

i recently tested lr with every inyention of buying it since it was recommended by a friend who is a setious photographer,no slick interface here, in fact if you're a fan of windows explorer's tree structure, you'll be lucky to find your photographs. i detest the way lr manages photos.lr has some great features if you're willing to spend the time learning the obtuse interface and spend hours going through all your work tagging, editing, etcetera.the single feature i found to be almost universally great was the auto wb button. it seldom failed to improve my images.as many have previously noted, lr is too expensive for what it offers. at the end of my 30 day trial i uninstalled it and have no intention of purchasing.

this little app is sneaking up on imgburn. i think the average geek would prefer imgburn, but the average computer user would probably prefer burn aware.

first, imgburn is not overly complicated. at install and first launch, you get a very clear and concise dialog asking what kind of project you'd like to complete; be it burn an image to disk, or create one etc. it does have the more complicated features for disk mastering for more advanced users, but they're not required as the defaults have never failed me regardless of the task i wish to perform.second, burnaware, while an ok type of app, falls short in some of its functionality and abilty, but can't be totally ignored because it is, after all, free.plumber should focus on a more intelligent and lucid explanation as to why he thinks one program beats another, and leave the passion out of it. slamming other people for their own beliefs simply because they don't fall in line with yours is immature and closed minded. rating a program high because the authors included adding it into the context menu or because they're a friend of yours is simply ridiculous. what other folks are mentioning here is simply this:when you compare this program to others, it doesn't do anything more than the others do besides that context menu thing. i, for one, don't care much about that since i prefer to get into the program itself and do the disk mastering myself. that being said, considering that the other programs are free and this one is not, i would go with the others, and between those two mentioned, imgburn is by far the more powerful and comprehensive. now i did give this program a fair shake and tried it, and quite frankly i am very not impressed with it. it's burner software. it works. so it gets a 3. does it work better? no, so it doesn't get an extra point which would have been a 4. when comparing apples to apples, is it free also? no, there goes the other point that could have brought it up to a 5. so to be clear, it works, but it's not free or as powerful as other free ones, it gets a 3.also, one other thing... take note of the image. right above this program's dialog for burning an image to disk, is windows built in ability to burn an image to disk, which is also (ahem) free. so is one really expected to pay to do something that can be done in literally the same step for free?and i don't know any of the authors to any of the programs.

epim is an outlook like application but... it is more powerful !first, it has a portable version and a network version (collaborative)second, each function is very fast and powerful : * it's possible to search in any modules (todo, appointment, contact, password manager, notes, emails) in real time (match elements are showed while writing the word).* it's possible to define tasks and sub-tasks (try this with outlook < 2010)* it's multi-language (english, deutsh, italiano, frană§ais... and a lot of other)* it's possible to synchronize with a lot of products : outlook, pocketpc, palm, online web (google, caldav, yahoo...) and epim team will works on android and iphone sync.there forum lets write suggestions and support questions.a minus point is documentation (there are a lot of features and help file is small)globaly, i've bought it in 2000 and i still fond of essentialpim : give it a try with free version (limitation on numbers of events or sync method)
